Hi you! Here’s me in my natural habitat!

I’m Eliott, and I’m a French knitter 🇫🇷 🥐 🥖.

I am a self-taught knitter/crocheter, but I also like to draw, tattoo, embroider and do anything with my hands really.

My grandma taught me the basics of knitting as a kid. I taught myself how to sew not long after, and loved making doll clothing, sewn or knitted. And believe it or not, I actually had an Etsy store at the time.

I put it aside for a few years, until I decided to give an actual knitting project a try for a friend of mine who loves stuffed animals. In 2022, I made one, then two, then three… and shortly after I stumbled upon @dotpebbles_knits account and made my first frog.

Eventually, my relatives suggested I start selling them. (I have severe anxiety and was living off of disability benefit at the time, so a little pocket money would have been great). I didn’t feel confident enough to do so but gave it a try a couple weeks later. That’s when Heknitt was born.

They sold pretty fast and I offered making customs. I made an Instagram and here I am, almost 2 years later ☺️

Right now, I have the job of my dream. I live off the froggies. I couldn't have asked for a better job, and I could never have dreamed of making stuffed animals for a living.
